Simple, Powerful, Functional

Simple app, well thought out. Highly functional and analytics are a bonus. Very pleased!

Best Workout App!

Ive tried several apps to track my workouts and this is by far the best. Build routines easily, edit on the fly, graphs, and track previous success!

Maximum 4 workouts?

There is an in-app purchase to record more than 4 workouts a week? This is ridiculous.

Best Workout Tracking App

Ive tried them all. While there are other great apps out there (JEFIT, FitnessBuddy), none are as simple and easy to use as Strong. I get more done with fewer clicks. Its also the most aesthetically pleasing out of the three, and the usability is also too-notch.

Great app for the gym

Really like using this app at the gym. Keeps me on track and motivated. Like that exercises can be added by user. Just started creating routines. Only suggestion would be to add more aerobic exercises to menu.

Changes the game

Like many of the other reviewers, I was writing my workouts by hand. However, because I was lazy, I often left out the weight/reps completed. After getting this app, I realized the foolishness of leaving out that information. Its now so easy to input all my workout info, and I can really see actual improvement. I was a bit surprised, when after 4 workouts, they asked for money. However, because of the sheer usefulness of this app, I gladly bought the full version. I am fully impressed by the minimalistic yet usefulness of this wonderful application. I have recommended it to all my serious gym friends.

Great App to Record workouts

After searching for an app to substitute my paper workout notebook, I finally found this one. Excellent so far!

Great app

Best Ive found so far for free form workouts. Routines work great too, bit other apps seem a lot weaker for one-off workouts. Excellent polish overall. Well worth it

Great App and very user friendly

I have used many workout apps and this is by far the most user friendly one out in the market. Who ever designed it finally listed to what the users were requesting. Great job!

This is the best app out there for tracking and creating workouts with a clean, efficient, minimalist style. The only reason my rating is 1 star is to catch the attention of an app developer. Although this app does contain warm-up and plate calculators (which are a nice feature) this app is missing a way to calculate maxes and percentages. Not that its difficult to calculate on an other calculator, but it would certainly be more convenient to be able to calculate all percentages from the app itself instead of having to calculate each percentage individually. • *If an additional training parameter and column for percentages were added when creating and tracking workouts, I would find it much more admirable versus having to type out the percentages for each set into the notes section of each exercise. As an avid Powerlifter, percentages play a crucial role in regards to following or developing a training routine. Im just beginning the Smolov and Ed Coan Deadlift Routine which boy oh boy was it work to put all of those percentages in to the exercise notes of the app. • Speaking of routines, it would be an incredible benefit if users were able to track and create multiple month to month or week to week plans. Instead of just solely routines. This would be a great way to plan and complete workouts across a calendar layout which would be great for visualizing and goal setting for the future. • Additionally, a way for the user to measure personal progress using different variables would certainly be an appreciated perk. What I mean by this is perhaps an optionally added row/section to the bottom of the profile/home screen in which users would be able to track and gauge there own goals. For example, a section/row for a lifter such as myself would include a place to allocate current maxes and goals for those maxes. Whereas a swimmer could perhaps optionally measure goals for various swim lengths and time. All in all this app is an easy 5/5 rating. Although, if these suggestions were implemented this application would certainly be the epitome of all training applications!

TRIAL ONLY!

Was not very clear that this app forces you to purchase it past just 4 workouts. Wasted my time setting it up and using it for a week.

Use It Daily But Missing....

I use this app daily every week, and I absolutely love it! By far be best weight tracked out there. My only issue is that with the most recent update you added some features that I feel werent quite ready to go public yet, and you removed some of my features I found to be a necessity. Bring back the ability to change the default timer, but still keep the ability to vary the length of timer length from exercise to expertise. Not everyone takes 120s rests. The ability to do force touch is amazing and quick, but I loathe that it only shows the first 3 routines. I would love to see the force touch rotate the routines based on which routine you did last. See example below: Day 1: Routine A, B, C. Day 2: Routine B, C, D (Since Routine A was done on Day 1). Finally; please fix the crashing during multitasking. I use multiple apps when working out, and I find that if Im away from the app too long, it crashes causing me to lose my timer. Complete pain. In the end, these are all minor and do not hinder the use of the app by any means. I love it, and will continue to support the app for time to come.

Usurped my last fitness app

I used fitocracy for YEARS, and this app easily replaced it.

Great app until update

This app was awesome until I updated it. Now I cant log ANY workouts and it just prompts me to upgrade to the paid version. Deleted.

Best

Of all the tracker apps Ive tried, this is the simplest, most complete. Love it.

Great app

Cant wait for the desktop version. Also should make it easier to see workout history per routine.

Perfect workout app

Handles everything but sometimes the timer doesnt show...

Great app, but

Am I missing somewhere to put in other measurements besides body fat and weight? Such as waist quads biceps? Would be a nice feature to track

Perfect app!

Easiest workout app. Lots of space for details too.

App Makes the Gym Notebook Extinct

App is awesome for tracking workouts, and has features I havent even tapped into yet. This app replaces the notebook, and will save time in the gym. Gym notebook and music all in one.
