Worth the money

You can tell the developer cares about making a good app. Really nice.

Good but doesnt write active calories

Great app, but doesnt write how many calories you burned during a workout. I have Apple Watch but this app doesnt use that data during a workout.

Good but lacking

Good app, clean and functional. Pros: - Easy to use. - Custom workouts and routines. - Aside from the initial purchase- no monthly garbage and no ads. Cons: - Cannot rename a routine (or cant find the option). - When creating a routine and adding supersets, I often return to the routine and random workouts have occasionally been added.

Great! (but could use a few touches)

This is the best workout tracking app Ive ever used! A few things Id love to see are the option to enter measurements for more than just weight, bf and cals. How about body measurements? Also, if you add a progress photo to a workout theres no option to edit it (or delete) - so if it gets cropped weirdly, you are stuck with it.

This is one of the few iOS apps that keeps me locked into using an iPhone. No nonsense tracking. Great interface. Pairs really nicely with the zero cellular reception at my gym. Had to enable Touch ID mainly because I am afraid someone will look through all my sexy in-app progress photos and learn my secrets unlawfully. But you can know the secrets for free, right now: eat good, workout even when you don’t want to, and keep track. And this app is perfect at one of those things.

Very easy to use beginner or advanced

This app is so easy to use. Its also great to compare previous workouts with another and keep track of PRs. You just set a routine and forget it. Developer is super responsive to email.

Toss the notebook.

Without this app, I would be lost at the gym

Im not great at writing reviews and its not my fav thing to do but I had to make an exception for the Strong app. I used to work out years ago so I kind of knew my way around the gym. But fast forward 10 years and I felt like a novice when I stepped back in at the beginning of 2016. I tried multiple workout apps but this one is hands down the best app out there. Its very simple to use when you start off but once you figure out a routine or 2 you the App is actually quite advanced. This app is a must if you are heading back into the gym or are sick of the pen and paper way of tracking your workout progress.

Misleading "FREE" Purchase

WARNING: The features of the app itself are phenomenal but the app becomes unusable and requires a minimum $5 purchase after logging 4 workouts.

"Free" Price is Misleading

I spent a bunch of time setting up the app just how I wanted with routines. The app itself is a 4/5, but they dont tell you that after 3 workouts they want you to pay 5 bucks to keep using it! It is far from worth that amount. Maybe $1-2. PICK A DIFFERENT WORKOUT APP!!

Best Weight Lifting App on the market

Ive used many weight lifting applications on the App Store, and nothing compares to the Strong App. There is nothing else that works as well as the Strong App and as easy to use. I highly recommend the Strong App.

Simple and Powerful

Youre in complete control. Use the features you want, no gimmicks, not complicated. Fantastic record-keeping and easy customization of the workout *you* want to do. Love it!

Easy, powerful, and great user interface

Ive tried all the workout logger apps. This is my personal favorite. Very happy. Hope it keeps being supported by the developers for a long time.

Its a great App. Crashed once and lost everything but since then no issues.

Best workout tracker

Best workout logger Ive tried. Very easy to use, no gimmicks. When you add an exercise it shows how much you did on your last workout, and you can even pull up charts tracking your progress. Customer support was great, I didnt know how to add supersets but they emailed me right back showing how. Overall best app for the gym.

Suggestion

I like it so far. I like being able to add workouts of what I am doing. Just one suggestion. Added elliptical as a work out. But could not change weight for time and reps to level. For those type of leg workouts. I think this could be added to the list.

Best workout tracker out there

Exactly what I needed. Would love more organized csv exports so I can parse the data easier. Maybe a tab for each exercise. Overall, awesome. Looking forward to future development!!!!

One of the best workout apps Ive used. Simple, streamlined tracking. Solid foundation, and exciting potential. A must download for those about to workout, new and old.
